Pyrethrin Pyr"eth*rin, n. [NL. Pyrethrum, generic name of feverfew, Gr. ? feverfew.] (Chem.) A substance resembling, and isomeric with, ordinary camphor, and extracted from the essential oil of feverfew; -- called also {Pyrethrum camphor}. [1913 Webster]
