Quinquefid Quin"que*fid, a. [Quique- + the root of L. findere to cleave: cf. F. quinqu['e]fide.] (Bot.) Sharply cut about halfway to the middle or base into five segments; as, a quinquefid leaf or corolla. [1913 Webster]
