Spurry Spur"ry (sp[u^]r"r[y^]), n. [D. or OF. spurrie; cf. G. spergel, NL. spergula.] (Bot.) An annual herb ({Spergula arvensis}) with whorled filiform leaves, sometimes grown in Europe for fodder. [Written also {spurrey}.] [1913 Webster]
