Durene Du"rene, n. [L. durus hard; -- so called because solid at ordinary temperatures.] (Chem.) A colorless, crystalline, aromatic hydrocarbon, {C6H2(CH3)4}, off artificial production, with an odor like camphor. [1913 Webster]
