Blindworm Blind"worm`, n. (Zo["o]l.) A small, burrowing, snakelike, limbless lizard ({Anguis fragilis}), with minute eyes, popularly believed to be blind; the slowworm; -- formerly a name for the adder. [1913 Webster]
