Ravenous Rav"en*ous (r[a^]v"'n*[u^]s), a. [From 2d {Raven}.] 1. Devouring with rapacious eagerness; furiously voracious; hungry even to rage; as, a ravenous wolf or vulture. [1913 Webster]
