Fecundate Fec"un*date, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Fecundated}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Fecundating}.] [L. fecundare, fr. fecundus. See {Fecund}.] 1. To make fruitful or prolific. --W. Montagu. [1913 Webster]

2. (Biol.) To render fruitful or prolific; to impregnate; as, in flowers the pollen fecundates the ovum through the stigma. [1913 Webster]
