Metallochrome

Metallochrome Me*tal"lo*chrome, n. [See {Metallochromy}.] A coloring produced by the deposition of some metallic compound; specifically, the prismatic tints produced by depositing a film of peroxide of lead on polished steel by electricity. [1913 Webster]
