Orach Or"ach, Orache Or"ache, n. [F. arroche, corrupted fr. L. atriplex, Gr. ?. Cf. {Arrach}.] (Bot.) A genus ({Atriplex}) of herbs or low shrubs of the Goosefoot family, most of them with a mealy surface. [1913 Webster]
