Platyptera Pla*typ"te*ra, n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. ? broad + ? a wing.] (Zo["o]l.) A division of Pseudoneuroptera including the species which have four broad, flat wings, as the termites, or white-ants, and the stone flies ({Perla}). [1913 Webster]
