Reduvid Red"u*vid (r?d"?*v?d), n. [L. reduvia a hangnail.] (Zo["o]l.) Any hemipterous insect of the genus {Redivius}, or family {Reduvid[ae]}. They live by sucking the blood of other insects, and some species also attack man. [1913 Webster]
