Stamin Sta"min (st[=a]"m[i^]n), n. [OF. estamine, F. ['e]tamine, LL. staminea, stamineum, fr. L. stamineus consisting of threads, fr. stamen a thread. See {Stamen}, and cf. {Stamineous}, 2d {Stammel}, {Tamine}.] A kind of woolen cloth. [Written also {stamine}.] [Obs.] [1913 Webster]
