Rap Rap, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Rapped} (r[a^]pt), usually written {Rapt}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Rapping}.] [OE. rapen; akin to LG. & D. rapen to snatch, G. raffen, Sw. rappa; cf.
