Turrilite Tur"ri*lite, n. [L. turris tower + Gr. ? stone: cf. F. turrilite.] (Paleon.) Any fossil ammonite of the genus {Turrilites}. The shell forms an open spiral with the later whorls separate. [1913 Webster]
