Viscous Vis"cous, a. [L. viscosus. See {Viscid}.] Adhesive or sticky, and having a ropy or glutinous consistency; viscid; glutinous; clammy; tenacious; as, a viscous juice. -- {Vis"cous*ness}, n. [1913 Webster]
