Bunch grass Bunch" grass` (Bot.) A grass growing in bunches and affording pasture. In California, {Atropis tenuifolia}, {Festuca scabrella}, and several kinds of {Stipa} are favorite bunch grasses. In Utah, {Eriocoma cuspidata} is a good bunch grass. [1913 Webster]
