Carnation Car*na"tion, n. [F. carnation the flesh tints in a painting, It carnagione, fr. L. carnatio fleshiness, fr. caro, carnis, flesh. See {Carnal}.] 1. The natural color of flesh; rosy pink. [1913 Webster]
