Clearstarch Clear"starch` (kl[=e]r"st[aum]rcht`), v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Clearstarched}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Clearstraching}.] To stiffen with starch, and then make clear by clapping with the hands; as, to clearstarch muslin. [1913 Webster]
