Decalcify De*cal"ci*fy, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Decalcified}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Decalcifying}.] To deprive of calcareous matter; thus, to decalcify bones is to remove the stony part, and leave only the gelatin.
