Glossohyal Glos`so*hy"al, a. [Gr. ? the tongue + the letter ?.] (Anat.) Pertaining to both the hyoidean arch and the tongue; -- applied to the anterior segment of the hyoidean arch in many fishes. -- n. The glossohyal bone or cartilage; lingual bone; entoglossal bone.
