Goniatite Go"ni*a*tite, n. [Gr. ? angle.] (Paleon.) One of an extinct genus of fossil cephalopods, allied to the Ammonites. The earliest forms are found in the Devonian formation, the latest, in the Triassic. [1913 Webster]
