Haybote Hay"bote` (h[=a]"b[=o]t`), n. [See {Hay} hedge, and {Bote}, and cf. {Hedgebote}.] (Eng. Law.) An allowance of wood to a tenant for repairing his hedges or fences; hedgebote. See {Bote}. --Blackstone. [1913 Webster]
