Inconsolable In`con*sol"a*ble, a. [L. inconsolabilis: cf. F. inconsolable. See {In-} not, and {Console}.] Not consolable; incapable of being consoled; grieved beyond susceptibility of comfort; disconsolate. --Dryden. [1913 Webster]
