Barkentine Bark"en*tine, n. [See {Bark}, n., a vessel.] (Naut.) A threemasted vessel, having the foremast square-rigged, and the others schooner-rigged. [Spelled also {barquentine}, {barkantine}, etc.] See Illust. in Append. [1913 Webster]
