Stannel Stan"nel (-n[e^]l), n. [AS. st[=a]ngella, stangilla; properly, stone yeller, i. e., a bird that yells from the rocks. See {Stone}, and {Yell}, and cf. {Stonegall}.] (Zo["o]l.)
