Tinchel Tin"chel, n. [Written also {tinchill}.] [Gael. timchioll a circuit, compass.] A circle of sportsmen, who, by surrounding an extensive space and gradually closing in, bring a number of deer and game within a narrow compass. [Scot.] [1913 Webster]
