Chickasaws Chick"a*saws, n. pl.; sing. {Chickasaw}. (Ethnol.) A tribe of North American Indians (Southern Appalachian) allied to the Choctaws. They formerly occupied the northern part of Alabama and Mississippi, but now live in the Indian Territory. [1913 Webster]
