Steapsin Ste*ap"sin (st[-e]*[a^]p"s[i^]n), n. (Physiol. Chem.) An unorganized ferment or enzyme present in pancreatic juice. It decomposes neutral fats into glycerin and fatty acids. [1913 Webster]
