- Os Os, n.; pl. {Osar}. [Sw. [*a]s ridge, chain of hills, pl. [*a]sar.] (Geol.) One of the ridges of sand or gravel found in Sweden, etc., supposed by some to be of marine origin, but probably formed by subglacial waters.
