Pistache Pis*tache", n. [OE. pistace, fr. F. pistache. See {Pistachio}.] (Bot.) The anacardiaceous tree {Pistacia vera}, which yields the pistachio nut; also, the nut itself and the flavoring extract prepared from it. Called also {pistachio}. [Webster 1913 Suppl.]
