Subtilty Sub"til*ty, n. [Contr. fr. subtility.] 1. The quality or state of being subtile; thinness; fineness; as, the subtility of air or light. [1913 Webster]

2. Refinement; extreme acuteness; subtlety. [1913 Webster]
