Sympathize Sym"pa*thize, v. i. [imp. & p. p. {Sympathized}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Sympathizing}.] [F. sympathiser. See {Sympathy}.] 1. To have a common feeling, as of bodily pleasure or pain. [1913 Webster]
