Usbegs Us"begs, Usbeks Us"beks, n. pl. (Ethnol.) A Turkish tribe which about the close of the 15th century conquered, and settled in, that part of Asia now called Turkestan. [Written also {Uzbecks}, and {Uzbeks}.] [1913 Webster]
