Tresayle Tres"ayle` (tr[e^]s"[=a]l`), n. [F. trisa["i]eul, from L. tris, tres, three + F. a["i]eul grandfather. Cf. {Besaiel}, and see {Ayle}.] A grandfather's grandfather. [Obs.] [1913 Webster]
