Zeal eal (z[=e]l), n. [F. z[`e]le; cf. Pg. & It. zelo, Sp. zelo, celo; from L. zelus, Gr. ?, probably akin to ? to boil. Cf. {Yeast}, {Jealous}.] [1913 Webster] 1.
