Dichogamy Di*chog"a*my, n. [Gr. ? in two, asunder + ? marriage.] (Bot.) The condition of certain species of plants, in which the stamens and pistil do not mature simultaneously, so that these plants can never fertilize themselves. [1913 Webster]
