Gonotheca Gon`o*the"ca, n.; pl. {Gonothec?}. [NL., fr. Gr. ? offspring + ? box.] (Zo["o]l.) A capsule developed on certain hydroids ({Thecaphora}), inclosing the blastostyle upon which the medusoid buds or gonophores are developed; -- called also {gonangium}, and {teleophore}.
