Tarpeian Tar*pe"ian, a. [L. Tarpeius, prop., pertaining to Tarpeia.] Pertaining to or designating a rock or peak of the Capitoline hill, Rome, from which condemned criminals were hurled. [Webster 1913 Suppl.]
