Trim Trim, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Trimmed}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Trimming}.] [OE. trimen, trumen, AS. trymian, trymman, to prepare, dispose, make strong, fr. trum firm, strong; of uncertain origin.] 1.
