Gadwall Gad"wall, n. [Gad to walk about + well.] (Zo["o]l.) A large duck ({Anas strepera}), valued as a game bird, found in the northern parts of Europe and America; -- called also {gray duck}. [Written also {gaddwell}.] [1913 Webster]
