See {Stupid}, {Fact}, and cf. {Stupefacient}.] [Written also {stupify}, especially in England.] 1. To make stupid; to make dull; to blunt the faculty of perception or understanding in; to deprive of sensibility; to make torpid. [1913 Webster]
